The Company Satchok is made up of three highly contrasting artists. What unites them is a shared joy in performing and a deep commitment to acrobatics. From the tension between their differences emerges a distinctive and vibrant stage language. Galatée Auzanneau is the flyer of the trio—impulsive, creative, and full of bold, sometimes wild ideas. Her charming and magnetic stage presence is truly one of a kind. Camiel Corneille specializes in aerial straps. With a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, he is also the conceptual mind of the trio, shaping the artistic vision and structure of their work. Marius Pohlmann is the base. Strongly practice-oriented and focused on execution, he is the grounding force and physical backbone of the group. The way Company Satchok creates and performs its shows is rooted in the individual characters of its members. These personalities must always follow a shared logic and sense of balance in order to form a coherent and unified performance. The trio’s stage “language” is composed of slapstick acrobatics, partner acrobatics, and aerial straps—physical, playful, and precise. Show Sisyphus has a duration of 20 minutes and can be performed up to twice per day. A minimum break of 60 minutes between performances is required.
