Naoto Okada and Shu Takada are among the world’s most exceptional yo-yo artists. The two Japanese performers have known each other since childhood and have won a combined total of eight World Championship titles throughout their individual careers. In 2022, they founded Toy Toy Toy and created their duo show. Their international breakthrough followed in 2025, when they won the Silver Medal at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris. Whether performing one-handed or two-handed, with classic yo-yos, free strings or exceptionally long strings, Naoto and Shu combine technical perfection with breathtaking speed and precise timing. They are also among the few artists worldwide to have mastered the complex art of Diabolo-style yo-yo play. But Toy Toy Toy is much more than a demonstration of extraordinary technique. Perfectly synchronized choreography, music, humour and the duo’s unmistakable charm transform their yo-yo artistry into a modern, highly visual show that works internationally and without language. Since 2025, Naoto and Shu have also been developing a network of selected yo-yo artists, allowing the Toy Toy Toy show to be performed simultaneously at multiple locations.
